As we continue our math unit on 3 digit addition, I've noticed that some students are still struggling with their basic facts. If they are having trouble memorizing them, please help them practice ways that they can at least come up with them quickly. I have copied a strategy page to the back of this newsletter that explains some useful strategies. Make-Ten is a great strategy to use! If you have your own strategy that you use to help you add quickly in your head, show that to your child. They would love to know how your mind works! :)
