Learning Target Sheets
Rather than sending home a data binder every couple of weeks as some classrooms are doing, I will be helping your child track their learning each week on the learning target sheet that is in the back of their take home folder. This sheet should stay in their folder when you are not looking at it or signing it. On the back of the sheet are sample problems and resources to help you support each learning target at home. For math, most of the time they will have work that has come home in their folder when a new entry has been recorded. Please sign each new entry by simply signing your initials in the box to the right. Eventually, there will be a reading tracking sheet in their folder as well and I will be sending their Reader’s Notebook and Writing Folder with them periodically. To help support your child at home, see the back of the sheets, visit our math curriculum page listed on the back of the math target sheet, look at the work coming home, check out our BLOG, or ask me for assistance! :-) Please contact me with any questions or concerns about the target tracking sheets.
