We are excited to inform you that the third grade classes are scheduled for a field trip to Ohio Caverns in West Liberty on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015! Students will bring home permission slips and money information this week.  Each child will need to bring a brown bag lunch containing all disposable items; we do not want to have to bring anything back on the bus after we eat. Students may also bring up to $10.00 extra with them to buy a souvenir at the gift shop- this is completely optional.  The gift shop has several nice souvenirs for only a few dollars!  Please complete the bottom portion of the permission slip and return it to school along with your child’s money by Thursday, Sept. 24th. Checks can be made out to Graham Elementary.  Again, they will receive more information this week!  Thank you!

Tie Dye
We will be tie-dying t-shirts on September 24th.  Your child needs to bring in a freshly laundered, white, 100% cotton t-shirt.  This can be a shirt that you already have at home, or one that you purchase if you so desire. It could be a white shirt with a Graham logo on it as well.  If it is a new shirt, please make sure you wash it at least once to get any chemicals out and finish any shrinking that will occur upon washing.  The tie dye chemicals will be brighter and hold tighter if the shirt has been freshly washed.  These shirts will be used for special occasions throughout the year to show class unity.  For our classroom, I will be storing the shirts here and the students will change into the shirt upon arrival.  I will then take the shirts home to wash them and save them for the next event.  This will ensure that the students wear the shirt on the correct days and that they don’t get lost.  Any extra shirt donations are greatly appreciated.  Please send in the shirts by Tuesday, September 22nd.  Thank you!
